Will there be E-Books for Penn Foster?

I know if you search "text books" there will be a long list of discussions on this topic, but I am curious if anyone knows of any talks of the college offering e-books rather than hard copies.  The reason I bring this up is I just waited over 20 days for my text book to arrive, and when I spoke with Student Care the only solution offered was for me to pay up front.

To those who do pay up front, are all of your courses open to take all at once or do you have to wait until you complete the proctored portion of the course before moving on to the next?  Just curious, I just feel like since this is an online university, more of of the functions should be available online such as re-enrolling and accessing your textbook.

I realize that text books would be large documents but if the chapters were broken down and available with each section of your course it would be pretty easy to digest.  Alternatively, even just the first couple chapters could be digital so that during the "7-15 day" shipment period you can dive into the material..

Now I have some serious reading to do to get back into the swing of things since I have my book finally!
